We don’t live in Kenya. Can my child join?
Yes. Online courses work from anywhere, and live classes run online 1:1 or in small groups, scheduled in your time zone. Prices show in US$, and you can pay by card.
What does my child need?
A computer or tablet with internet for online lessons. AI courses need nothing else. Arduino courses need only a microcontroller and everyday parts — you can build free in the Tinkercad simulator, tinker with what you have, or buy the optional Tinkerwith Maker Kit.
How do I pay?
In Kenya, by M-Pesa (Till 3022049; the prompt shows Wakara Technologies Limited, the company behind Tinkerwith). From abroad, by card. Online courses unlock once we’ve checked the payment, usually the same day. Schools can ask for an invoice.
What if it’s not right for my child?
Start free — we have dozens of free lessons, games and full online courses, so you and your child can try Tinkerwith before paying for anything. Still unsure which paid course fits? Message us on WhatsApp and we’ll help you choose.
Is it safe for children?
We never ask for a child’s photo or surname, parents can sign up on their child’s behalf, and AI lessons teach kids to stay safe online. See our privacy policy.
